About Us

Auren Studio was founded in 2013 on one conviction: that the quality of a space is determined by the quality of its decisions, not the quantity of its materials. We work with private clients and cultural institutions across six countries — designing new houses, transforming existing buildings, and shaping the ground that connects buildings to the world outside them.

Our practice is intentionally global and intentionally small. We take on six to eight projects a year. We work in concrete and in timber, in northern fog and tropical heat — because the discipline of good spatial design does not belong to one climate or one aesthetic. What remains constant is the rigour: every decision is justified by the site, the light, the life the space is made for.
